2013 55 & Over Doubles tennis is played on Saturdays at 2pm (January) then moving to Sundays at 2pm for ladies only.  Players must be 55 years or older by December 31, 2013 to be eligible to play in this league.  Teams are comprised of all men or all women with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 17 players per team*.  Men's and women's teams compete in separate leagues in the following divisions of combined NTRP ratings: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0.  Each weekly match is 3 lines of doubles where the combined rating of partners must not be greater than the division maximum AND the difference between the partner ratings must not be greater than 1.0.  For each division, the team with the best match win/loss record will be eligible to compete in the Texas Sectionals tournament.  All local leagues must have at least a 2 team league.  The Sectional Championships are scheduled for November 8-10, 2013 location TBD.  There will be a National Championship in April of 2014 for Sectional Champions.
